HSC Client / Server configuration under ELS 7.0

in Virtual Storage Manager (MOSC)
 We moved to ELS 7.0 earlier in the year as part of our Tapeplex and CTR implementation. We are being asked to consider moving to an Client / Server relationship for both HSC and SMC. This would allow us to have fewer instances of HSC running within our Plex, removing potential CDS contention and allowing VTCS to run more efficiently.

We're curious how many other users are already using this configuration and if they have any findings that they wouldn't mind sharing with us. We don't have any CDS contention at the moment and are wondering if it would really buy us anything.
