PDF file from Oracle11g database?

For generating PDF reports on my Oracle PL/SQL web application, I found a free software, PLPDF (PLPDF.com).

The PLPDF pakages were Oracle PL/SQL packages. User PLPDF is own on all PLPDF packgase in Oracle database.

The user has roles of connect, resource and select * from v$database.

My concern,

1. Any security issue related the PLPDF user and its package?

2. Does Oracle have build-in packages on PD- file generating ?
