How to prepare for 2010 1099s when we are on JDE E1 8.10

 I want to figure out what we need to do in order to file 1099s for 2010 but we are on JDE 8.10, which is no longer supported.  I see all the 1099 knowledge documents reference the other releases but not 8.10.  We have begun the process of upgrading to 9.0 but won't be on it till late 2011.  What are our options?
