Owners Equity

 We are creating a new Entity  in  Oracle Finacials and we are considering using Historical Rates for owner’s equity.  All other Ledgers are currently using PTD which is Oracles default.  Is it possible to have one Ledger use Historical and all others use PTD?

From what I  find the Historical rates are based on assets,and  liabilities, the PTD is based on expenses, and revenue Wwould this require  a different setup than if all entiities were PTD?
