How to change calendar Period Number in the GL Calendar.

Module GL Module.
Calendar related issue.

Presently calendar PERIOD was defined as 12. But due to the requirement, (they want to add ADJ period)  managements wants to have 13 PERIOD. I understand this can be changed. Please suggest me a way to change Period Number. 

Please give me your input.
