Group Plan DBA Payroll Calculation Hierarchy
Here is a challenge/sample situation about the following DBA Group Plansetup:
I need to include generic calculation DBAs 4501, 4502 and 4503 at the Group Plan level because these need to be calculated for employees members of a specific union. Those 3 DBAs are not Job type/step-specific.
- Within the same union (same Group Plan, same effective dates), DBA 6653 is Job/type/step-specific and its basis of calculation includes DBAs 4501, 4502 and 4503.
- DBA 6553 is Group Plan and Job type/step-specific; it does not calculate because it does not recognize its Basis of Calculation made up of DBAs 4501, 4502 and 4503.
- The only way 6553 will calculate correctly is if I duplicate DBAS 4501, 4502 and 4503 as many times as I have Job types/steps that have DBA 6653 attached.
