How to remove some virtual shared disk while keep RAC database running
Hi,
In my Oracle VM, I created 5 shared virtual disks of 20GB each. They are all attached and active.
The I think I partitioned the 5 shared disks and made them for use in my ASM. The ASM creation was during the installation of 11gR2 clusterware. I then created ACFS onto the ASM to be used as shared RAC installation location for all RAC nodes. The RAC creation was smooth and then I left it running there for a year. Now I wanted to remove some of the shared virtual disks while keeping the RAC running.
Since there has been some time I couldn't remember certain things I had done.
