Using UFSDUMP to copy SVM mirror disk
I have a Solaris 10 system where the root drive is mirrored. I want to make a copy of the disk to use in another server. Without SVM I used to just use ufsdump in single-user mode. The drive has many partitions. I would not mirror the partition with the SVM database (s7).
Can I do that and make a functioning root disk? If so, do you have suggestions? Also, what needs to be removed from the copy so it does not try and sync with a target disk, etc.
Thank you very much.
