upgrade E-Business 11i (DB:9.2.0.8; AP:9iAS) to R12

 We are planning to upgrade our E-Business 11i (DB:9.2.0.8; AP:9iAS) to R12, and while reading Note: 233436.1 secion1, it says "the 10G AS services may run in separate ORACLE_HOMEs on existing server...deploying the architecture does not upgrade the existing Oracle E-Business 11i technology stack to Oracle Appication Server 10G". The question is:
1. Out current server OS is RHEL4, and if we deploy this serparate ORACLE_HOMEs architecture, do we have to use different user account? different user group? or can we use the same application user to create separate ORACLE_HOME with the same user and group privillege?
