Is it possible to create orders through Sales Offline excel?

Hi,

We need a solution to create sales orders from excel spreadsheet and I was thinking a sales offline as a solution for that. We have not used that application before and after trying to read out the implementation and user guides I am not sure if it is possible to create sales orders through that that sales offline excel. 

Does anyone have experience about that application and sales orders, is it possible to create SO from the excel? I noticed that it is possible to create quotes from offline excel, so it would be possible to create sales orders if you first create quote and then SO, but we do not wont to have any extra steps...
