Prorate convention not working for new depreciation method

Hi,

I am working on Oracle 11.5,10.2 (11i) Fixed Asset module.

We need to use Pro Rate Convention-Next Month. (Depreciation starts from next month of DPIS)

When SLM  method is attached to Asset category/Asset, Pro Rate convention is working fine. Means, it start calculating depreciation from Next Month of Date Place in Service. 

But when new depreciation method is attached (a Method type-Table Based , calculation basis-Cost), Pro rate convention is not working as desired. Means, it start calculating depreciation from Date Place in service (and not from Next Month)

Is it a bug ?

What is solution for it ? The prorate convention shall be working fine with new depreciation method also.
