Payment Terms on Agreements

We have the default agreement payment terms of 30 days but a few customers that have terms of 45 days.  I thought that the payment term one the agreement would be changed to the customer default at time of agreement creation but the the terms stay at 30.  Any way for this to be system defaulted from the customer setup?
