A role hierarchy exists to prevent a conflict when a user signs on having *ALL roles applied and has multiple roles included in their *ALL role. To set the hierarchy, execute the Work with User/Role Profile application (P0092) and then click the Role Sequence row exit. On this screen you will see all roles added to the system. Each user within the system may be assigned all the roles or most often they are assigned a subset of the roles. Within this application you define the hierarchy of the roles.
