In Grid Control we get the same Metric Collection Error repeatedly and we have to configure the same

We get a metric collection error in the Grid Control console for database csecup01 on server sap4r0007. It constantly goes away afte configuring the database , again. On the configuration screen the password for DBSNMP is already filled in and we only need to press the "Test" button. It naturally works fine. The we submit it and the database is once again configured. After a two or more days, the metric collection error is back and we must configure the database all over again.:

The metric collection error shows up more frequently now, within 2 hours of being corrected.  It is as if the repository is not maintaining the DBSNMP password to the database.
