Rolling over balances for terminated Employees

Below is the text from the JDE Payroll 9.0 Implementation Guide, page 273, with regard to Rollover program R073910: 2. Roll Over Balances of Terminated Employees Enter a value that specifies whether to roll over terminated employee leave balances. Terminated employees are identified by a pay status of T. Values are: 0 or Blank: Do not roll over. (Default) or Blank: Do not roll over. (Default) 1: Roll over. : Roll over.

My question is:  If we use many different alpha pay statuses to identify different types of terminations, this means that those different than "T" will never see their Anniversary leave balances rolled over into the new year.  I have checked into the code and the pay status "T" really is hard coded.  What do other JDE clients do to rollover the anniversary vacation accruals for terminated employees?
