Report generate EXCEL extension

Hi,
We have a requirement to generate Reports via Siebel 8.1 in Excel format. All reports in pdf, ppt, rtf, html are working well except for excel because its having .EXCEL extension on it. But when we change the LOV report value to XLS the same error thrown.
