Backspace takes me back

 Does anyone have sporadic trouble with the backspace key when typing up a response to an SR in MOS?

When I am happily typing along, then need to backspace to correct a typo, "sometimes" the backspace is treated as a browser-back, and I lose everything I typed in the SR response.

I am using a Japanese keyboard, but in English mode. It does not happen evertime, and I'm at a loss to pinpoint anything I am doing differently.
