Inter-branch transactions, anyone?

 Hi, 
Has anyone come across any user request where they wanted system to auto-create corresponding entries like intracompany in R12, but referring to non-balancing segment?Example, i have a request for inter-branch transaction where users want system to auto-create the due-to and due-from account. Branch segment is a non-balancing segment.
