Transferring assets from one operating unit to another operating unit under same Business Group

1.      Could you please suggest if there is any better and efficient approach that can be followed other than extract the existing asset details from the old entity and upload them in the new entity.

2.       Can we maintain the same asset numbers same as that of the old entity?

3.       What will happen to the assets in the old entity – are they needed to be retired in the old entity or set the NBV to zero or anything else?

4.       Is there any other thing to be considered/taken care while doing this asset transfer activity?

Please let me know, this is a urgent requirement.
