Role Based Security Problem - Item Catalog

Hi all,
We are currently working on R12.1.3 and we are trying to set-up roles in order to prevent users from updating or viewing Items or Attributes in Item Catalog.

I have created a role at Item Level called "View Only" and I have assigned only the "View Item" privilege to this Role.

I have assigned this Role to a User (A) in a specific Item Catalog Category.

Additionally I have created an Attribute group that is used in the specific Item Catalog Category for which I have stated the "Edit Item" privilege as required in order to "View" the specific Attribute Group.
