  Hello,

I am using UCM 10gR3 on Oracle DB 11g.  In manual cetting started with content Server 10g R3 (10.1.3.3.0) March 2007 section 5-15 it says

"Note: For performance reasons, do not use more than 50 security groups if you enable
accounts. Also, make sure that the security groups have relatively short names."

I always struggle to find a way to make it work with the recommended limited number of security groups (50).  I understand the idea of Security Group plus Accounts makes a 2 dimensional control to give it more flexibility and granularity in access control.  In my case, ideally the secuirty group is more resemble to the major types of documents (invoices, PO, etc) in the organization, more in line with "Content Type", while Account can be used to add second dimension control (e;g. document subtype, or department, or different office locations).  But of course there are many major document types

Howdy, Stranger!
