OTL : Premium Eligibility and Premium Earning Setup

The premium rate for earning are normally been set at Payroll level. What is the scenario we use Premium Eligibility functionality in OTL to set premium.

Here as an Scenario , not sure whether I can use Premium Eligibility functionality or payroll setupfor this

Emp Have monthly rate salary

Sal -  $1000

He is working in shift and need to pay the overtime for each hours by converting the Monthly sal to hourly


Overtime Rate - 1.50 multiples of (Hourly Rate )

Hourly Rate - (1000 / 30 * 8)

As Hourly Rate is not flat amount, can we use the premium eligibility setup to derive the Overtime Pay.
