Restoreing EBS R11/R12

 Hi We are using Oracle EBS R11/R12. Suppose if Hard Disk of Application node, DB Node fails.
We have cold backup of Application Node / DB node in zip format

to recover EBS we perform following steps

We re install OS (RHEL 5) with same directory structure,same name,domain, IP as it was before.
Extract Application node file system to Application node from backup.
Extract DB file system from backup.

run autoconfig on DB Tier.
run autoconfig on Apps Tier.

start services

Is this method right to recover????? is it possible???
