oracle memory question

  Hi,

I had posted this question in wrong forum.

In one solaris 10 server I'am running 3 oracle 9i instance,

the sga allocated for all 3 instance together ( 7+2.5+1.5) 11gb, 

always we see that server memory utilization is 96-97%, we have 16gb memory in the box,

how to check where the other memory are going,  how much is actually oracle using ?


is sga is the max memory oracle can use?  or it uses more memory for client handling?
