How to run a mid-month trial balance for a previous month/year

I need to run a trial balance as of 11-17-10 but the AR and AP G/L dates are dated the end of the month, even though the batch date is in the middle, so a report or inquiry for the middle of the month shows nothing.  At a minimum I need to modifiy data in a test enviroment to get the reports out and they need to balance with sub ledgers like AR & AP.
