New legal entity

 We are on release 11i.  We have a new legal entity which will eventually become a separate OU with AP, AR, PO, etc.  For the time being there will only be GL journal entry activity in it.  Is there any problem with creating a new company code and creating GL transactions in it before actually creating the new OU?  Will we be able to easily use this new company code for the new OU once it is created?
