one line status is shipped but the others are closed

 Hi,
 I have a question to ask you. When I create SO and the line status is shipped but the other lines status are closed. And When I go to shipping transaction form , this order is in step interfaced.
  I just want to ask that why this one line is in shipped not closed. But the whole SO is in interfaced status.

Please clarify.
