VAT Descriptive Flexfield

 There is a VAT DFF in journal lines containing the following fields:

- Is this a tax invoice?

- Invoice date

-Tax code

- Invoice identifier

-Net invoice amount

Can anyone tell me what is this being used for?

How different is this from the Journal Header "Tax" field? In fact, I don't even know what is the Journal Header 'Tax' field used for. There are no documentation for Tax at journal header and no information on this VAT DFF at Journal line.

Appreciate if anyone can share any info on this. Thanks.
