Tax Books for non US countries in USD

 We have a requirement for our client, where business wants to see assets data for tax book in USD for certain countries. We need tax books to be setup in USD therefore.

For example:

For UK we created a secondary ledger with currency as USD. When trying to create a tax book and assigning the book UK USD Secondary ledger, we could not see the ledger in the LOV. As per my understanding, Oracle standard functionality does not allow to have CORP books and tax books in different currency. But this is a required for tax reporting in US.

Has anybody come across similar requirement. Is there a way to achieve this functionality and see tax book information for a country in USD.
