how to write dumpfile to tape?

  Hi Oracle gurus.

In my environment database backup and restore procedures is created with expdp\impdp utilities. I take dump file midnight.

So now i need to record my dump files from my disk arrays to tape. Which utility is the best way to copy database dump file from disk to tape? HP gurus say that it depends what kind of data i will copy. I know there are several ways such as tar, pax, cpio and so on. Which is best to write and read to\from data cartridge?
