scheduler job hang without any error

Hello,

I have a database version 11.2.0.1.2 and several scheduler jobs created.

The problem starts with 2 of the scheduler jobs hanging in the "running" mode. Sometimes I can see the SID fo the job and eliminate it, other times the SID is not showing up, but the job is.

When the job SID is not showing up I get the following error when trying to delete the job:

ORA-16639: specified instance inactive or currently unavailable
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_ISCHED", line 199
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SCHEDULER", line 557
ORA-06512: at line 2

Can someone help me out? I cannot see any error in the job log or alertlog.
