Bonus Depreciation

 Hi

Is it possibe to apply Bonus depreciation to an asset after it has already started depreciating within the  fiscal year of the bonus rule?  In other words, an asset was added Jan 2010 and we discovered later that a bonus rule of 50% applies in 2010.  We have not closed Dec 2010 period yet.  

Can someone please provide me the steps to accomplich this.
