Hi
we have a 2 node 11g R2 RAC database on Linux X64. The data files, OCR and Voting Disk are located on ASM. We are using RMAN to backup the
database to +FRA disk goup. Data files are located on +DATA disk group
We need to create a stand alone physical standby database on a single server using the 2 node RAC database as source / primary database
On the standby database server, we have installed the 11G R2 Grid Home and Oracle Home performing the "software only" installation
On this server, we will be using ASM as well with +DATA and +FRA disk group
