R12 Service Contracts: Auto Renewals - Contract Number Modifier

Hello,

In 11510 , auto renewals renews a contract with contract number modifier as 'R'+'DD-MON-YYYY'.So for example if I renew a service contract using AutoRenewals today, Modifier is "R01-FRB-2011".

However, if I renew similar contract (using Autorenewals) in R12.1.1, the contract number modifier has a timestamp alongwith Date.So Modifier looks like 'R01-FRB-2011 11:14:02'.

Also in 11510, when we manually renew a contract it keeps the timestamp in the modifier and this is one of the easiest way our busniess users differentiate whether contract is manualyy renewed or autorenewed.

Is there any way (profile/setup) that allows you to NOT to append the timestamp in the contract number modifier when renewed using AutoRenewals?
