Turn off Workflow Email notifications

Hello

This is an OLM question and I could not find a community. So I thought, I'd put it within the customizations.

Anyway, when a user subscribes for a Certification, email notifications are sent out and we want to disable them.
How can I disable the workflow emails when a user subscribes/unsubscribes a Certification ?
