Solaris 8 and 9 zones

We have a legacy application that requires SPARC Solaris 8 or Solaris 9.  We are looking at running X86 Solaris 10 to cut down on the hardware cost.  Is it possible to run a SPARC Solaris 9 zone on an X86 Solaris 10 installation?
