Assets not appearing in LOV while performing Add to Asset Functionality in Prepare Mass addition for

 I have few invoices which have been interfaced from AP and currently i can see those in Prepare Mass addition from . I want to add these invoice amount to assets which are already existing in the system and they are categorized as expensed asset . but while performing the same thru "Add to asset" functionality i am not getting these assets in Asset LOV .

Is it a standard functionality or i a m missing any thing ...

pl help ..
