Looking for a workaround about the unsupported special validation type value set for a segment of a

Hi,
we are migrating to 12.1.3 from 11.5.9.  In 11.5.9, we have some segments using special validation type value sets. The validations use PLSQL code to validate some identification numbers. In 12.1.3, the suppliers form is now web based and the special validation type is no longer supported. Is there a workaround to be able to validate our values?
