Has anyone encoutered the problem where you are connecting from a 10.2.0.4 machine (either client or full) on a 32 bit machine and try to connect to a 11.2.0.2 database on a 64 bit machine.

I get the following errors -

TNSPING -

TNS Ping Utility for 32-bit Windows: Version 10.2.0.4.0 - Production on 04-FEB-2011 12:26:52

Used parameter files:
C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\database\network\admin\sqlnet.ora
Used TNSNAMES adapter to resolve the alias
Attempting to contact (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS_LIST = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)
(HOST = xx.xx.xx.xx)(PORT = xxxx))) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = xxxxx)))
TNS-12535: TNS:operation timed out

Howdy, Stranger!
