Are Pre- and Post-Chain of Authority Action Types Supported In 11.5.10?

We're using AME with version 11.5.10.2 and would like to use Pre- and Post-Chain of Authority Action Types to insert approvers at the start and end of the approver list. I read somewhere that these action types are not supported in 11.5.10. Is this correct or have I misunderstood?
