Implicit Save is not working

 Hi,
I have written a script on the "Forecast 2000 -- Forecast Item Detail Flat List Applet (ExecWS)" and Forecast 2000 -- Forecast Item Detail Flat BC in order to set a Field value while creating New Record.

I have written code in PreWriteRecord event.

When I step off the record the Field value is not getting saved but when I do Ctrl + S the value gets set.

It means the Implicit save is not working.

Could any one suggest me the reason.
