R12 General ledger Queries

 Hi Folks,

Could you please clarify following queries in R12 new features.

1. My primary Ledger currency is USD, reporting currency is GBP. when we create transactions in AP,AR and FA, what exchange rates system will consider in reporting ledger.

2. Mass Maintenance Workbench purpose and usage in GL.
