Analyze tables:

Hi,

           Database oracle 11.1.0.6 RAC 3node  on linux. I ran analyze tables compute stats on 54 tables containing millions or rows, I ran these script around 9pm last night and it still hung until 8am this morning, what is the best practice to run stats on these tables. We have conversion running and millions of rows added every night we have very limited time to run the stats. Any suggestion would great.
