10g - Scheduler Clustering Quesion

 We have two stand a lone instances of BIP (No common repository) and they are clustered by third party software and it's random round robin.

How does the scheduler clustering work in that case? There is an option in the scheduler configuaration screen to enable cluster. Does it require additional settigns/configuaration?
