Grid control 10.2.0.5 email notifications not working
Hi, As part of setting up email notification for critical metric threshold breaches and policy violations, I have setup the following:
1. Set up a new administrator - Super Administrator
2. Ensured notification method and emails are working correctly. The basic email tests work fine.
3. Populated the time schedule for this administrator
4. Create a new Private rule of type Database Instance and enlisted some metric and policies.
5. Ensured the email checkbox is checked against the rule in question
6. Ensured that the metric and policies are part of the database instance target as well.
7. Gave birth to violating conditions. No alerts and notifications resulted.
