How to set up private IP address

edited Dec 20, 2016 4:05AM in Oracle Solaris Cluster (MOSC) 5 commentsAnswered
Hello,
We are trying to configure a two node cluster with a "dedicated" private network. It is not really a dedicated one because it is a shared VLAN where other clusters connect their private network interfaces. For doing it we chose the "dedicated" option during the scinstall process and we discard the warning about the "network traffic detected".

The cluster is set up when scinstall finish but the IP address for the cluster interconnect is randomly assigned and we are not able to change them.

We tried to change them using the clsetup tool but we cannot set the IP address, just the network address.

Howdy, Stranger!
