How to open eText - Outbound csv file in Excel from EBS R12 requests window

 Hi,

I have a requirement to generate a financial report in CSV format from EBS R12 that I can open in Excel from the Requests window.

I have used an eText - Outbound template to successfully generate the report in CSV format.

This I can confirm when viewing the generated output by clicking the 'View Output' button on the Requests form.

I am trying to understand how I can see the output displayed in Excel rather in a browser window.

I have tried adding a new format/mimetype combination via Viewer Options...
File Format: E-Text      Mime Type: application/vnd.ms-excel

Howdy, Stranger!
