Unable to view contracts in R12

 We have just done our first upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to R12.1.1 and are now longer able to view the contracts that were created in 11.5.10.2.  Are there certain steps that we need to perform so that we can see this data?  Are there patches that we should have applied in 11.5.10 so that the data would be viewable in R12?
