HR OAB - how to trigger life event for annual mass merit increase

 We did a full install of HR several months ago and have also implemented Advanced Benefits.  I am preparing for the annual merit changes to everyone's salary using the Web ADI and the Salary Management form.  This process appears to update the salary form ok with the merit increase to the salary and it also creates the new salary element.  But it doesn't create the life event in OAB for this salary change. We do have a life event 'salary change' set up which works fine for one-off changes. But what do I need to do to get the life
