How to link Oracle table to load Oracle data into BOM?

Hello all,
I need to investigate on how to populate a Oracle table into JDE Bill Of Material table periodically, but I don't know where to start...
Do I need an ODBC driver to connect to (DB2?) JDE BOM from Oracle?

If this is not the right community, I apologize...
